Course Objectives:

To understand the importance of business etiquette, dining etiquette,
written and verbal and nonverbal communication, poise and presentation
skills, and appropriate dress code including biblical principles of respect
and honesty.

As followers of Christ, we commit to honoring God in all our actions.
We seek to be like CHRIST practice loving Consideration, Honesty,
humility, and holiness; Respect and responsibility (personal accountability);
Integrity, interpersonal relationships, and initiative; Service with a smile;
and Trustworthiness in every interaction.
We seek to be shining examples of Christ’s love, bringing glory to God and
edifying others in our personal and professional lives.

Activities:

This course is designed to promote a Christ-like attitude in our approach
towards Academic Achievements, Career Aspirations, and future
Community Engagement. We provide more than just instruction; we give
each student an opportunity to experience the value of etiquette for
themselves.
Weekly Activities, simulations, and assignments allow
participants to review and reflect on lessons, practice principles, and exchange feedback to build each student’s knowledge, skillset, and confidence.

The Etiquette Experience ends with a celebratory banquet culminating the
four major components of Business Etiquette: Communication,
Interpersonal Relationships, Table Manners, Poise and Presentation.

At the banquet, each student will give a presentation summarizing key
takeaways that demonstrates their assigned topic, including personal
reflections from their learning journey; and will receive a certificate of
completion at our celebratory banquet.

The celebratory banquet will
provide a more formal opportunity to practice the lessons and skills taught
during the workshop and “show what they know” to their family and friends.
