Shanna is an enthusiastic educator with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from the University of Alabama. With two decades of homeschooling experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a profound commitment to nurturing young minds.
Shanna's passion for learning and her innate desire to assist others have guided her homeschooling journey. She has a steadfast mission: to offer children the opportunities they need to pursue their interests and aspirations.
She has overseen the Gavel Club, which is Toastmasters for young learners. Through this platform, she has aided students in developing their communication and leadership skills. She has served as a coach for both Divisions B and C of the Science Olympiad. Her dedication has ignited students' passion for science and instilled in them a competitive spirit. As a fervent advocate for robotics, Shanna has coached and mentored teams participating in various FIRST Robotics competition levels, including Jr. FLL, FLL, FTC, and FRC. Her mentorship extends beyond building robots; it shapes young engineers and innovators.
