¡Hola, Amigos! Welcome to an exciting journey into the world of Spanish language and culture! This course is designed for upper elementary students with no prior Spanish experience. Students will embark on an immersive exploration of the Spanish-speaking world. Course Description:- Interactive lessons, engaging activities, and cultural experiences - Basic vocabulary and grammar skills to communicate effectively and confidently - Gain insight into diverse cultures and traditions of Spanish-speaking countries What Will Students Learn: Students will start by building a strong foundation in basic vocabulary and simple phrases, gradually progressing to more complex language structures and expressions. Through engaging activities, interactive exercises, and immersive experiences, students will develop essential language skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Additionally, they will explore the cultural traditions, customs, and celebrations of Spanish-speaking countries, gaining a deeper understanding of global diversity and fostering an appreciation for multiculturalism. Prerequisites: No prior knowledge of Spanish is required. This course is open to young learners at varying levels of language development, providing a welcoming and inclusive introduction to the Spanish language and culture. Assessment: Student progress will be evaluated through various methods designed to assess comprehension, language acquisition, and cultural understanding. These may include: - quizzes - written assignments - oral presentations - projects, and participation in group discussions and activities Feedback will be provided regularly to guide students' learning and foster continuous improvement.
