Business Fundamentals & JA Biztown Homeschool Day (Atlanta, GA)
New Spring Course - Business Fundamentals (4th-7th grade) Registration is open for students interested in joining Business Fundamentals. This online course will study business basics utilizing the Junior Achievement Biztown curriculum and will culminate at the Junior Achievement Biztown Homeschool Day in-person event in Atlanta. Business Fundamentals Class (must register by logging in to your DCHE account and clicking on "Enroll" on this page) Weekly on Fridays from 3-4pm starting February 14 Class schedule: 2/14, 2/28, 3/7, 3/14, 3/21, 3/28, 4/4, 4/18, 4/25, 5/2 (Zoom login details will be provided to those who have registered with both DCHE and JA Biztown) Topics covered include: Community & Economy, Financial Literacy, Work & Career Readiness, and Business Management JA Biztown Event (must register via Eventbrite) Tuesday, May 6, 2025 JA Discovery Center in Atlanta At this interactive event, students will have the opportunity to implement their knowledge to navigate a real-world simulation to experience life as adult citizens of society. Deadline to register for both the Business Fundamentals class and JA Biztown in time to receive student workbooks at DCHE by 2/10/25. Workbooks will be distributed on Feb. 12 at DCHE. (Note: Those registered after 2/10 must make their own arrangements to pick up workbooks from the JA Discovery Center.)
