Description: Human Anatomy & Physiology I is a High School semester course which examines the structures of the Human Body. Lab Activities will be completed on Wednesdays in-person Co-op Day.  Lecture Viewing, Readings, and Assessments (Drawings, Quizzes, Midterm, and Final) will be completed at home throughout the week. Lab Activities will explore Diffusion and Osmosis, Tissues and Histology, Skeletal System & Joints, Muscular System, Nervous System and Endocrine System.. The follow-on course, Human Anatomy & Physiology II (Spring Term 2024),Lab Activities will continue to explore Human Body Systems including the Respiratory System, Digestive System and Reproductive System.   This course is eligible for Dual Credit with Colorado Christian University (as BIO-201 and BIO-211).

DCHE REGISTRATION FEE: $5.00

CLASS FEE (payable to Vanita Johnson): $250 Per Term Per Student due September 1, 2023 (for Fall Term) and January 1, 2024 (for Spring Term)

CCU DUAL CREDIT FEE: $200 - For Students seeking Dual Credit, you will also need to:

  1. Register with CCU starting November 1, 2023 and ending no later then November 15, 2023 
  2. Pay the $200 course fee at the time of Registration

TOTAL COST FOR DUAL CREDIT STUDENTS = $455.00

TOTAL COST FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS (NOT SEEKING DUAL CREDIT) = $255.00
